On the day of the Winter Solstice, the weather was perfectly chilly.
Gathered around the table,
we started with a small piece of dough,
slowly rolling it into a ball.
Some were making tangyuan for the first time,
some shared their little tips,
and some shaped them into unique forms.
In this process, the distance between juniors and seniors
quietly grew shorter.
As the seasons shifted,
on cold days,
many hands worked together,
kneading warmth slowly into life.
That evening,
we remembered that just-right warmth.
